Introduction to Team Building
This introductory workshop will provide an overview on the concept of teams. This ranges from special project groups to self directed work-teams. We will explore the conditions required to support a teaming environment, the issues which emerge in working with teams and the leadership required to support and sustain teams. We will explore the stages of team development utilizing a high performance team model. Participants attending will receive a resource manual and definitive answers to the questions: Should our agency benefit from moving to an interdependent team based environment? and if so, What do we need to do to achieve this?

An Intensive Team Building Training Program
The focus of this intensive training program is to assist managers, Board Members and team leaders to design and implement a team based approach within their organization. Utilizing an experiential design we will:

• create a vision of a high performing team
• create operating norms, decision making processes and performance targets as essential ingredients in moving to high performance.
• explore the conditions required to support teams
• identify the skills, culture required for teams to be successful.
• explore the skills required to lead teams
• utilize both organizational and team diagnostic tools
• explore the advantages of utilizing Myers Briggs Type Inventory(tm) for effective communication and as a means of valuing differences within the team
